  • The airport continues to grow with the local businesses and economy.  In an effort to accommodate the needs of our rapidly growing County and businesses, the airport continues to make improvements and add facilities that support local business and transient aviation.  Current and past projects are listed below.

    • Terminal Apron Ramp Improvements (2013-14)
    • Airport Terminal Building (2012-13)
    • Airport Wildlife Hazard Assessment (2012-13)
    • Runway 17/35 Reconstruction (2010-11)

Private Development Opportunities
Over 100 acres are available for development on the airport.  Many opportunities for both aviation and non-aviation use exist.  Property for develpoment is available with taxiway and runway access as well as Business Park and excellent access to State Highway 288.  Foreign Trade Zone areas are also available.  Brazoria County offers very competitive lease rates and terms for this property as well as opportuntiies for incentives for qualifying projects.  The Aviation Director can offer more information as specifics on a project are discussed.
